Herzegovina (AMFI) is organizing an online conference titled \u201eNew Age for the Microfinance Institutions in BiH\u201c. This will include four panel discussions dealing with current topics related to the microfinance sector in BiH. Special emphasis here will be placed on client protection, boosting development of small businesses in BiH in line with the best EU practices, digital transformation and eco inclusion.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The online conference will be held on\u00a0<b>Thursday, November 18<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> 2021 at 10:00 AM<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After the opening remarks by Ms. Elma Zuki\u0107, President of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in BiH (AMFI), and Ms. Mejra Juzba\u0161i\u0107 Bajgori\u0107, Regional Director of \u201cFinance in Motion\u201c \u2013 EFSE, what follows is the first panel titled \u201cMore than micro lending: client protection, non-financial services and socially responsible financing as the basis for success of the microfinance sector\u201d. The panel leader is Ms. Elma \u010cardaklija Ba\u0161i\u0107, Director of MCF Lok, while panel participants are Ms. Ernadina Bajrovi\u0107, B.Sc., Vice Governor of the Central Bank of BiH, Ms. Vanja Cico, Investment Manager at \u201cFinance in Motion\u201d \u2013 EFSE, Ms. Katarzyna Pawlak, Executive Director of Microfinance Centre \u2013 MFC and Ms. Caroline Lentz, Deputy General Manager of the European Microfinance Network \u2013 EMN.<\/p>\n<p>The second panel is titled \u201cBoosting Development of Small Businesses in BiH through EU best practices\u201d. The panel leader is Mr. D\u017eavid Sejfovi\u0107, Director of MCF Lider and Vice President of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in BiH (AMFI).
