AMFI at the MFC Annual Conference 2025 – Tbilisi, Georgia
The Association of Microfinance Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AMFI) was proud to take part in this year’s MFC Annual Conference, alongside representatives of 149 member organizations from 36 countries, reaffirming the power of regional and international cooperation in advancing inclusive finance.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented as a case of a mature and resilient microfinance sector, built on decades of experience and a strong commitment to sustainable and inclusive finance.
During the CEO Forum, AMFI Chair and MFC Board Member Elma Zukic emphasized the importance of ESG transformation and digital innovation in microfinance, highlighting AMFI’s ongoing development of a centralized ESG & KPI Dashboard – a tool to enhance transparency, accountability, and long-term impact.
On the panel “Leading Fair Green Transition”, Senad Sinanovic, Director of Partner mikrokreditna organizacija showcased impactful practices from Bosnia and Herzegovina in financing green investments, improving energy efficiency, and supporting a fair transition toward sustainability.

The conference reaffirmed that AMFI members remain committed to building a responsible, community-focused, and forward-looking sector – ready to address today’s challenges through shared values and innovative tools.
