On December 5th, our president, Elma Zukic had the privilege of attending the European Microfinance Day 2024 in Brussels, an inspiring event hosted by the European Microfinance Network (EMN) in collaboration with the Microfinance Centre (MFC). The event brought together key players from across Europe to discuss how microfinance can empower local communities and drive meaningful change on a global scale.
The conversations revolved around impactful initiatives that promote inclusion, sustainability, and innovation in underserved communities. From affordable housing and green transitions to fostering entrepreneurship and empowering women, the event showcased how microfinance is a powerful tool for addressing some of today’s most pressing challenges.
A heartfelt thank you to Georgios Papadakis Managing Director of EMN and a dear friend, for inviting us to join this important dialogue. Events like these remind us of the strength of collaboration and shared vision within the microfinance community.
We are proud to have represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in these discussions and are committed to translating these insights into actionable solutions for our region. Together, we continue to build bridges between local needs and global impact.
