This year Women for Women International organized this event with the extensive support of the Association of Microfinance Organizations in BiH, which is promoting development of entrepreneurship in BiH through the activities of its members.
The reason behind this joint project is, among others, the firm stance of the Association Women for Women International that the key for success of the better entrepreneurship environment is the synergy of all actors in joint projects, such as “Women’s Entrepreneurship Open Day in BiH”.
It is evident that the microlending needs to be supported by entrepreneurship trainings, support to women entrepreneurs in product placement, and their active participation in the creation of new, better and more adequate environment for entrepreneurship development in BiH.
Today’s event was an extraordinary opportunity for the successful participants of the educational programme of the Association Women for Women International, and the clients of Microcredit Organizations to present their work and products to the public.
The event in Sarajevo gathered a large number of successful female entrepreneurs involved in agriculture, industry, art, production and processing of herbs, bio food production and other similar activities.
“We hope that this event and other events organized during May will motivate competent institutions to focus on the development of the Strategy for Women’s Entrepreneurship in BiH”, said Seida Saric, Director of the Association Women for Women International.
